Patreon has been releasing a lot of new features, and one I find interesting is Quips, which is kind of like a Patreon social media section, currently available only in the app, not the web browser. Though I hear that is in the works.
I find this interesting because there are little things that I can do, like post about new flavour compounds, that don’t have enough content for a full post, but are still interesting. I pushed my first quip about two ingredients I have been searching for, for a while, alpha-Angelica Lactone and Koumalactone. Both in the tobacco, coconut, and tonka flavour zone.
The question is, are you interested in more short-form content? It might be a good way to discuss individual flavour compounds or some of the little things I do that make my day-to-day stuff more interesting, without clogging the main page with less useful posts.
